Declaration Day

Sometimes you must stop and say as Pastor Mike taught – STOP, GET BACK, THAT’S ENOUGH to the enemy.  At 55, I finally know who I am.  I know that God has gifted me with the spirit of Jael.  I know that I will see the enemy advance, will not back down and will take charge in the spirit.  But even when you know who you are and know your mantle it can still be exhausting and there are days that it is not fun.  In those times, I must refuel.  I must pray, praise and get my mind together.  I must hear from the Father and get His strategy as my strategy.  Sometimes, you have to stop and serve notice to the enemy that my kids are not up for grabs, my grandchildren are not easy prey, my family WILL stay intact and we will move forward HEALED, RESTORED AND READY to walk in our destiny and calling. I must remind the enemy who my Father is and that I am His child.  There is too much at stake to wallow and stay stuck. My mother’s scripture at 90 years old is Psalms 71:17-18

“ O God, You have taught me from my youth;
And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded,
O God, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.

She is declaring her strength and empowering our family and we will be the better for it.  Amen!
