I have a secret.  It’s a secret I want to share.  I have tuned into a new frequency, a frequency to hear from God and see prayers answered.  About 4 years ago through a series of adversities, my spirit man woke up. My friend had asked me for years, “Do you still journal, do you still write prayers?” I remember telling her no..that was for a different time.  I didn’t know I was asleep until I became awake.

As I woke up and learned to pray more direct prayers for my family, my overarching question was “if the Holy Spirit tells me things to come”, why am I always caught off guard.”  I began to ask The Lord how do I pray with power.  Around that same time, my long time mentor told me about the books by Dr. D.K. Olukoya.  Whatever she tells me to do, I do.  I quickly ordered Prayer Reigns and I began to find prayers for every situation.  I felt his prayers were a great launching pad.  I started to see God’s hand move.

Pressed with more dire circumstances in November 2014, she told me to buy Command the Morning by Dr. Olukoya.  I told her that I was already waking up in the morning to pray and I was trying to be obedient to always get out of bed and kneel to pray.  She encouraged me to start reading this small book and learn to Command the Morning.

As I started commanding the morning, I began to hear God speak back to me.  In one conversation, He said that we could commune like this everyday if I would be obedient to rise and pray.  These posts are a result of submitting my life to prayer.   Why do I share? I share because God wants to awaken this in His people.  The words of prophesy help me hold on while in the middle of the storm.  I hold onto the promises.

Command your morning!   Christians…we have to make it! The world needs us to show that God is still powerful and in Him we find hope and a future.  Be encouraged.
